Student Essay Competition

Essay Prize:

A $100 prize will be awarded to the best paper by an undergraduate
studying at a university in Alabama.
Papers in any area of philosophy are welcome.
Student should be prepared to present the paper
at the APS Meetings in Pensacola, Florida, September 6-7, 2024.

How to send:

You need submit only an extended abstract of up to 1000 words, not the entire paper. Your abstract should:

• be clearly marked “Undergraduate Essay Competition” at the beginning
• be prepared for blind review.
• be submitted via your university email account
• include your affiliation and contact information in the submission email

Submit your abstract in either
DOC, RTF, or PDF format to:

bamaphilsocsubmissions@googlegroups.com

(NOTE: if you have submitted to the conference in the past,
this is a [relatively] new submission address.)

All submissions must be e-mailed by May 1st, 2024. (Electronic submissions only.)
